Spring Repair & Replacement
Torsion and extension springs carry the whole weight of the door, and they're the single most common failure. We replace them in matched pairs so the door stays balanced.
Broken spring, dead opener, or a door stuck half-open? We answer the phone around the clock and get most residential repairs done in a single visit.

What We Do
From a single snapped spring to a full door replacement, we carry the common parts on the truck so most repairs are finished the same day.
Torsion and extension springs carry the whole weight of the door, and they're the single most common failure. We replace them in matched pairs so the door stays balanced.
Dead motor, grinding gears, or a remote that stopped pairing. We repair all major openers and install new chain, belt, and wall-mount units.
Frayed or snapped lift cables leave the door hanging crooked and unsafe to operate. We replace cables and re-seat the drums so both sides pull evenly.
If the rollers have jumped the track, stop using the opener — you'll bend the panels. We realign the track, replace damaged rollers, and check the door's travel.
Backed into the bottom panel? Replacing the damaged section is usually far cheaper than a whole door, as long as the model is still available.
Steel, insulated, and carriage-house styles from the brands we service. We measure, haul away the old door, and set up the opener with the new one.
Rolling gates and roll-up doors, including slat repair, drum and spring service, and motor troubleshooting on powered units.
A yearly tune-up catches worn rollers and loose hardware before they break. We balance the door, lubricate, and test the auto-reverse safety.
Car stuck inside, or a door that won't close and lock up for the night? That's what the 24-hour line is for.
Call NowWhy Homeowners Call Us
A real person picks up at 2pm or 2am. No answering service taking a message for a callback on Monday.
We quote the job before we start, and that's the price. No trip charge to come out and look at it.
Fully licensed and carrying insurance, so a mistake in your garage is our problem, not yours.
Common springs, cables, rollers, and opener parts ride with us, so most calls are fixed on the first visit.
How It Works
Tell us what the door is doing. We'll usually know the likely cause on the phone and can give you a ballpark before anyone drives out.
We test the springs, cables, rollers, and opener, show you what failed, and quote the repair. If you'd rather not go ahead, there's no charge for looking.
Most repairs are done on the spot. Before we leave, we balance the door and test the auto-reverse safety so it stops on an obstruction like it should.
Brands
We stock parts for and service all of these, plus most other major brands you're likely to have.
Service Area
We're based downtown at 723 9th Street and cover roughly a 30-mile radius, which takes in most of Sacramento County plus nearby parts of Placer, Yolo, and Solano. Not sure if you're inside it? Call and ask — we'll tell you straight.
Reviews
Ten years of this work around Sacramento, and most of our calls still come from repeat customers or a neighbor they sent our way. We don't choose which reviews you see — they're all public on our Google profile.

Don't. The spring counterbalances the door's weight, and with one broken the opener is dragging a door that may weigh 150–300 lbs. That burns out the motor and can send the door down hard. If your car is trapped inside, call us and we'll talk you through releasing it safely.
Yes — (916) 269-0924 is answered 24 hours a day. A door that won't close is a security problem, so we'd rather come out at 11pm than leave your garage standing open overnight.
It depends on what failed and what parts your door takes, so we quote each job after looking at it. What we can promise is that the estimate is free, there's no trip charge, and the number we quote is the number you pay. Describe the problem on the phone and we can usually give you a realistic range before we drive out.
Most common repairs — springs, cables, rollers, opener parts — are done in about an hour, in one visit, because those parts ride on the truck. A full door replacement is usually a half-day job. Special-order panels depend on how fast the manufacturer ships.
Our main focus is residential garage doors, but yes, we service rolling gates and roll-up doors as well. Give us a call with the make and roughly the size and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a job for us.
